The CCBA has submitted two projects for “Bridging the Gap” funding under the city’s Neighborhood Street Fund program. The two Columbia City projects are among numerous projects submitted throughout Seattle. There is a total of some $4.5 million to be allocated among selected projects. To some extent, the selection of projects is based on public input.
I hope you will take a few minutes to complete the city’s survey and indicate your preference for our two projects. Our projects are designated:
#2007-215, which is for the rebuilding of our sidewalks in the business district to correct drainage and tripping problems, and
#2007-493, which is for the installation of additional historic globe lighting on our side streets for the purpose of completing our business district.
Please go to this website… http://www.seattle.gov/neighborhoods/btgnsfcrf/
See “Large Projects Preference Survey” and click on “click here”
Next, click on “south sector”
Next scroll down and click on our two ID numbers, 2007-215 and 2007-493 to view the project descriptions. Then click “click here” to fill in the rating form.
When done, hit “submit”.
The survey will work if you choose to only list our two projects in your response, but by all means arte others as well, as you deem appropriate. Thank you for helping on this. Your doing this will make a difference.
