Healthy & Active Rainier Valley Coalition

HARVC link

A partnership aimed at building and strengthening the Rainier Valley by increasing the health of its residents through culturally relevant promotion of physical activity and nutrition.

The Healthy and Active Rainier Valley Coalition is a group of agencies and individuals that have come together in the Rainier Valley area of Seattle, Washington, to promote physical activity and nutrition. The Coalition meets on the third Wednesday of every month from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. at the Rainier Community Center, 4600 38th Ave. S, 98118.

Everyone is welcome to attend meetings.

Starting in July we will be having community discussions on health and social equity using the "Unnatural Causes" video series. Why are we a country that spends so much on health care yet have so many sick people? Please see the attached flyer for times and places.
