Plein Air Park
4864 Rainier Ave S
Stop by the Plein Air Park and spend some time painting "in the open air". We will have easels, canvasses/boards, as well as paints & brushes for you to use. You can also sit and sip a cup of coffee (donated by the Columbia City Starbucks) while you dream up your next creation. Don't forget to enter to WIN a painting created during PARK(ing) Day in our FREE RAFFLE.

Distraction Preserve
4903 Rainier Ave S
Distraction Preserve, an altered parking spot along bustling Rainier Avenue South, has metamorphosed into a small Participatory Performance Pocket Park.
With a shadow of a backdrop on one side and traffic on the other, visitors can rest their weary souls in patches of mobile grass. Come and delight in free dance lessons, concerts, or create your own distraction.
Team: Mary, Aubree, Jerri, Caitlin

Namaste Park
5269 Rainier Ave S
At Namaste Park, you'll discover a tranquil setting along the hustling rush of Rainier Avenue. Nestled in a lush bamboo garden between Hillman City and Columbia City, the park offers a restful spot for a little yoga or meditation. Join us for a cup of tea!

Re-Creation Park
5609 Rainier Ave S
The basic concept for the 8 x 20' space is to to use found objects to create and embelish the site over the afternoon. In essence, the park will be community built upon a given framework.
