Columbia City Theater Reopens Friday, June 25
The newly restored Columbia City Theater is preparing to re-open its doors on Friday, June 25 with a free show featuring Mash Hall, whose Larry Mizell, Jr. was recently appointed by Mayor McGinn to the newly formed Seattle Music Commission.
The re-opening celebration continues with more free shows by Grand Hallway (Saturday, June 26), The Maldives (Friday, July 2) and The Whore Moans (Saturday, July 3).

The newly restored Columbia City Theater is preparing to re-open its doors on Friday, June 25 with a free show featuring Mash Hall, whose Larry Mizell, Jr. was recently appointed by Mayor McGinn to the newly formed Seattle Music Commission.
Mizell, who also writes the hip-hop column for The Stranger and hosts KEXP's “Street Sounds” program, is one of the many familiar faces who are part of the CCT team. He will be hosting a monthly showcase spotlighting Seattle's up-and-coming hip-hop talent.
The re-opening celebration continues with more free shows by Grand Hallway (Saturday, June 26), The Maldives (Friday, July 2) and The Whore Moans (Saturday, July 3).
Seattle's oldest Vaudeville theater is now a multi-purpose venue. The front room (The Bourbon Bar) will be open seven nights a week and feature an eclectic mix of entertainment. A state-of-the-art studio will operate five days a week and utilize the theater's incredible acoustics as its live room. Shows in the main theater will take place on Fridays and Saturdays.
