May Day celebration: stop the war on workers!
Inspired by massive worker demonstrations in the midwest and a week of labor-led protests in Olympia, a panel of unionists will explore what's next for the labor movement. Add your voice to the discussion and learn how to stay involved.

Saturday, May 7, we'll serve a special dinner at 6pm for a $9 donation. Program starts at 7:30pm, $3 door donation requested. Sliding scale and work exchanges available.

- Victor Hidalgo — Medical interpreter and a leader in the successful campaign to create the new union Interpreters United-WFSE
- Steve Hoffman — Electrician, delegate to M.L.King County Labor Council and shop steward at North Seattle Community College
- Jasmine Marwaha — UNITE HERE! Local 8 community organizer currently improving job safety for hospitality workers
- Nikki Miller — Union organizer, leader in the Olympia Coalition for a Fair Budget, and an organizer of the April Days of Action
Everyone is welcome to attend. The event will be held at New Freeway Hall, 5018 Rainier Ave S.
