On Sunday April 1, 2012, the Fetal Hope Foundation will produce a special event called Eat Run Hope — Seattle's food and 5K for fetal syndromes, at Seward Park.

Eat Run Hope is a 5K Run/Walk and Food Event benefiting the Fetal Hope Foundation. The Fetal Hope Foundation's mission is to provide funding for research, to increase awareness, and to be an outlet for leading medical information pertaining to fetal syndromes. Based out of Colorado, FHF connects with local medical centers to fund care in event communities. Their goal is to arm families and healthcare providers with resources to save babies' lives.

The 5K run/walk starts next to the bathhouse/art studio and circles Seward Park on the lower loop trail. Family activities and sponsor booths highlight a fun post-event celebration along the south shoreline.

Ethan Stowell Restaurants introduces an exciting new event to complement the 5K. The Eat Run Hope Chef’s Tent, will feature samples of great food from twelve local restaurants. The Chef’s Tent is limited to 300 guests. Runners, walkers, spectators and tasters can also enjoy the beer and wine garden.
