Ready for school to start again? Ready to learn about the International Baccalaureate Program at Rainier Beach High School? Ready to talk about charter schools and learn how they might be implemented?

Please join us for a community conversation about education at Lakewood Seward Park Community Club on Tuesday, January 15th at 7pm.

From Colin Pierce, IB Coordinator at Rainier Beach:
The landscape of education in Southeast Seattle will begin to shift dramatically in the Fall of 2013. This is when Rainier Beach High School plans to offer a new academic opportunity for students called the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program. It is a world-renowned, high-quality, challenging program for all students that provides the best available preparation for college and beyond. Join us to find out more about the IB program, what it will look like at Rainier Beach High School, and other programs and opportunities at the school.

Bree Dusseault will facilitate the discussion about charter schools.

Open Enrollment begins February 25 - if you're thinking about high school options or wondering how charter schools might come into play, please stop in. Everyone is welcome - let your neighbors and out-of area friends know what the Valley will have to offer this fall.
