Columbia City Farmers Market

This Wednesday you'll find peas — sweet, crunchy, delicious, both sugar-snap and shelling peas from Alvarez and Willie Greens; plus asparagus, caulifower, broccoli, carrots, garlic, leeks, radishes, celery; and plenty of fresh greens for salads and stir-fries.

Two things that give veggies their optimal nutritional content are: soil quality and freshness! There's nothing much fresher than produce brought straight from our local farms, where it was cultivated in good, healthy soil… Eat well to be well.

Live music this week from Moe Provencher, plus marble painting in the kids tent sponsored by Graham Hill Elementary.
